The Artist Relief Project is an international fundraising platform to raise money for non-profit charities and provide unique exposure opportunities for professional artists.

Unlike traditional art fundraisers that raise funds at the expense of participating artists, The Artist Relief Project's model is a win-win for all.

WHAT PEOPLE SAID

The Artist Relief Project is a model of professionalism, good will and respect.

Heidi Pollard, Artist

Although she worked quickly to pull a group of artists together, Sandler exercised a discerning eye in those she invited...

Thankfully there are groups like The Artist Relief Project...

Communities now connected by the Internet and social media have, these past two years [Occupy Wall Street, Strike Debt, Sandy relief], demonstrated the speed and power of human caring and compassion that can be brought to bear when we bypass bureaucracy and take strength from each other. I think The Artist Relief Project has a long and important future supporting many communities and artists, and I am honored and humbled to be a part of it.

John Sabraw, Artist

Arielle Sandler approached The Artist Relief Project with incredible professionalism and dedication. I was continually impressed with her work during this fundraising campaign and proud to be a part of it.

Eric Cator, Artist

Arielle's promotional skills are impressive and most importantly she has a ton of integrity and understands the needs of artists because she is one. I recommend Arielle wholeheartedly for this project and would not hesitate to work with her again in the future.

Pamela Staker, Artist

It was a pleasure to work with Arielle Sandler, there were no hiccups, and I was proud to be a part of the project. Firstly, it was a just cause and secondly the standard of artists involved was high.

MORE INFO

I founded and curated The Artist Relief Project in 2012 in order to raise funds for and awareness of artists affected by Hurricane Sandy. Despite the short notice and lack of a marketing budget, the brief online exhibition attracted tens of thousands of unique visitors and raised thousands of dollars for the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Emergency Relief Fund. 50% of the net proceeds from the exhibition were donated to NYFA's Emergency Relief Fund. While we could not reverse the damage, The Artist Relief Project formed a global partnership on four continents to help artists get back on their feet.
